cāri māsera dina mukhya-bhakta bāṅṭi’ nila
āra bhakta-gaṇa avasara nā pāila

Synonyms

cari māsera dina—the days of four months; mukhya-bhakta—the chief devotees; banti nila—shared among themselves; ara bhakta-gana—other devotees; avasara—opportunity; na paila—did not get. 

Translation

For the four-month period, all the daily invitations were shared among the important devotees. The rest of the devotees did not get an opportunity to extend an invitation to the Lord.
