nṛtya-kāle sei bhāve āviṣṭa hañā
śloka paḍi’ nāce jagannātha-mukha cāñā
Synonyms
nṛtya-kāle—while dancing; sei bhave—in such ecstasy; āviṣṭa—absorbed; hana—becoming; śloka padi—reciting these verses; nāce—dances; jagannātha-mukha—the face of Jagannātha; cana—looking upon. ¶
Translation
Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu danced completely absorbed in ecstatic emotion. While looking at the face of Lord Jagannātha, He danced and recited these verses. ¶
