bāra dine cali’ gelā śrī-puruṣottama
pathe tina-dina mātra karilā bhojana

bāra dine—for twelve days; cali—traveling; gela—reached; sri-puruṣottama—Jagannātha Purī, or Nīlācala, the place of Puruṣottama; pathe—on the path; tina-dina—on three days; matra—only; karila bhojana—he ate. ¶

He reached Jagannātha Purī in twelve days but could only eat for three days on the way. ¶
