ei-ta kahila dāmodarera vākya-daṇḍa
yāhāra śravaṇe bhāge ‘ajñāna pāṣaṇḍa’

Synonyms

ei-ta—in this way; kahila—I have described; dāmodarera—of Dāmodara Paṇḍita; vākya-danda—chastisement by words; yāhāra sravane—by hearing which; bhāge—goes away; ajñāna pāṣaṇḍa—the atheist of ignorance. 

Translation

In this way I have described Dāmodara Paṇḍita’s verbal chastisements. As one hears about this, atheistic principles and ignorance depart.
