eka-mātra ‘aṁśī’—kṛṣṇa, ‘aṁśa’—avatāra
aṁśī aṁśe dekhi jyeṣṭha-kaniṣṭha-ācāra
Synonyms
eka-matra—only one; amsi—source of all incarnations; krsna—Lord Kṛṣṇa; amsa—of the part; avatāra—incarnations; amsi—is the source of all incarnations; amse—in the incarnation; dekhi—we can see; jyestha—as superior; kaniṣṭha—and inferior; acara—behavior. ¶
Translation
Lord Kṛṣṇa is the source of all incarnations, and all others are His parts or partial incarnations. We find that the whole and the part behave as superior and inferior. ¶
