svayaṁ-bhagavānera karma nahe bhāra-haraṇa
sthiti-kartā viṣṇu karena jagat-pālana
Synonyms
svayam-bhagavānera—of the original Supreme Personality of Godhead; karma—the business; nahe—is not; bhara-harana—taking away the burden; sthiti-karta—the maintainer; viṣṇu—Lord Viṣṇu; karena—does; jagat-palana—protection of the universe. ¶
Translation
To take away this burden, however, is not the work of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. The maintainer, Lord Viṣṇu, is the one who protects the universe. ¶
