maṅgalācaraṇaṁ kṛṣṇa-
caitanya-tattva-lakṣaṇam
prayojanaṁ cāvatāre
śloka-ṣaṭkair nirūpitam
Synonyms
mangala-acaranam—invoking auspiciousness; krsna-caitanya—of Lord Kṛṣṇa Caitanya Mahāprabhu; tattva-laksanam—symptoms of the truth; prayojanam—necessity; ca—also; avatare—in the matter of His incarnation; śloka—verses; ṣaṭkaiḥ—by six; nirūpitam—ascertained. ¶
Translation
Thus the auspicious invocation, the essential nature of the truth of Lord Caitanya, and the need for His appearance have been set forth in six verses. ¶
