upāsanā-bhede jāni īśvara-mahimā
ataeva sūrya tāṅra diyeta upamā
Synonyms
upasana-bhede—by the different paths of worship; jani—I know; īśvara—of the Supreme Lord; mahima—greatness; ataeva—therefore; surya—the sun; tanra—of Him; diyeta—was given; upama—simile. ¶
Translation
Thus one may understand the glories of the Lord through different modes of worship, as the example of the sun illustrates. ¶
