tāte ādi-līlāra kari pariccheda gaṇana
prathama paricchede kailuṅ ‘maṅgalācaraṇa’

tate—therefore; ādi-lilara—of the First Canto, known as Ādi-līlā; kari—I do; pariccheda—chapter; ganana—enumeration; prathama paricchede—in the First Chapter; kailuṅ—I have done; mangala-ācaraṇa—invocation of auspiciousness. ¶
Translation
Therefore I shall enumerate the chapters of the Ādi-līlā. In the First Chapter I offer obeisances to the spiritual master, for this is the beginning of auspicious writing. ¶
